This Marriott hotel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and accommodating to guests, I will definitely come back when I visit London with my twins. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a relaxing hotel in London. We didn’t have a reservation and we needed a hotel for one more night in London so we went straight to this hotel and Dilwar was there, he was so kind to make the reservation for the night and when I told him I was in London to celebrate my twin daughters birthday, he and Remi gave us an upgrade suite with 2 king size beds, and because we were all tired they let us have an early check in ( around 1pm ) the room was perfect for us, with all the amenities, a safe and the luxurious l’occitane products in the bathroom. The lounge was superb especially the breakfast! This was an unforgettable experience down to memory lane as I used to work for Marriott’s lounge in Canada. My daughters said they loved spending their birthday in Marriott wonderland large pool, the lady at the front desk gave us all robes for before and afterwards. They even have a sauna and steam room. The hotel is nice but what makes it wonderful is its hospitality that wouldn’t be possible without people like Remi, Dilwar and the nice lady at the front desk who sent us the robes to our room. Rooms are very comfortable, excellent accommodations and amazing staff. Breakfast buffet delicious as well. After long days of sightseeing and walking, felt like home away from home. Special thanks to Mr. Kuldeep in the bar area that took our order even when kitchen had already closed, you saved our night!

Not Marriot standard: Shocking levels of service & cleanliness

We are staying here with 2 kids for 8 nights. Absolutely shocked with the poor quality of service and the attitude of the management of this hotel. Very uncomfortable beds. Complained after the 1st night about the sagging mattress. Reminded the reception and the housekeeping staff again the 2nd day. We came back in the evening tired to find Mattress wasnt changed even the 3rd day. Asked for escalating it to the hotel manager. After further 2 hours of waiting, at 9 pm they asked us to change to the room. (I have a 2 year old kid). The hotel manager (Jewel) still couldn't be bothered to even give us a call. At this point i said I will take legal action unless I am compensated. Even then the hotel manager didnt call us. Only when i called reception at 10 pm after room change, did she answer our call and discussed compensation. It was a joke she offered gbp 50 for compenstion first. Only after further discussion did she offer my rewards points credit for 1 night only. Fast forward. Everyday we go out and tell the reception to make keep our room clean and ready by afternoon. For the last 3 days we have returned at around 5pm and the room cleaning is still not finished. This is after informing the reception desk, the duty manager consistently. So one could be unhappy about the hotel room or the service. But the level of negligence and the dont give a damn attitude by the management of the hotel is really unfortunate. Do not expect this from a Marriott. And definitely not coming back to aMarriott in London again

We have just enjoyed a night in this hotel and after staying in London regularly over the past 20 years I can honestly say that this is truly a great choice. We will now use this as our first port of call going forward when staying in the capital. The staff at this place are amazing, they truly make your stay wonderful. Special mention to James on reception who was one of the most hospitable, friendly and helpful people I ever encountered in the hotel industry. A real gent. Bilwah was also incredibly lovely on the phone prior to our arrival. Again, nothing was too much to ask. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well appointed. Furnishings are new and the interiors are really nice. Rooms are spacious and are also designed beautifully. Great, modern interiors. The hotel is a 5min walk from Swiss Cottage tube station and the you are on the Jubilee Line and in the middle of London in minutes! Thanks for a lovely stay Marriott.

Stayed in 67x and the room was cozy, but smaller than i expected. Location wise it was ok, small walk to underground and the buss stop. It’s an old facility but rooms seems renovated. The fridge stopped working and there were odor smells coming from the toilet. Could be as simple as missing a plumbing trap.
